I'd be beautiful if...

you don't have to change.png

If you have ever been around me, you know how much this statement hurts my soul.

I hear women say HORRIBLE things about themselves and their bodies ALL THE TIME. And I literally cringe.

Know wanna hear something funny? This same girl has had multiple photo shoots with me. She has felt empowered, beautiful and fearless. I witnessed it with my own eyes.
So why does she still say these things about herself? Why does she still hate her body?

Because, in her mind, she thinks society doesn't approve of her body. She doesn't look like a magazine model with abs and perfect skin. She's a mother. And despite her depriving, and food elimination diets (what I refer to as PUNISHMENT), she still has what most mothers have... a flabby tummy. Loose skin left over from it being stretched to carry an 8 pound human in our body. Several times. Our bodies are so AMAZING, just look what they can do! Instead of celebrating what our bodies can do, we instead put them down. We punish our bodies with dieting, negative self talk and self-bullying. We allow our minds to bully our bodies. Why? Because we hear everyone else do it!

We have been conditioned to believe that HATING OUR BODIES IS NORMAL.

Is that for real?

How many times have you said, or heard another woman say...

If I could just 'get back to our pre-pregnancy body, then I'd be happy'.
If I could just 'get back to how we looked in high school...
If I could just look like her, then... I'd be happy.

YOUR MIND IS TELLING YOU LIES.

Happiness does not live in IF's and THEN's. Happiness lives in NOW... here, in the FUTURE.

But, I realize, that it's really hard to just "Flip the switch" and just love yourself. It doesn't happen overnight. It just doesn't.
You haven't had your A-HA moment yet.

But you can.
And you will.

Because you deserve it.
You are worth it.
You are worthy.
Of love.
Of Time.
Of Self Care.
Of being your authentic self.

The world needs you.

Are you ready? If you or someone you know needs help with body image, self image, confidence, feeling worthy, feeling beautiful, etc... I would love to help them.
